This privacy statement explains which personal data MoveVolt processes, why, for how long, and what your rights are. We never process more data than we need to fulfil your order and answer your question. The Dutch version prevails in case of any difference.
1. Who is the controller?
- Trade name / legal form: MoveVolt — handelsnaam van Lageveen Holding B.V.
- Registered address: Ringfeart 22, 8464 PD Sintjohannesga
- Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number: 92330290
- VAT number: NL866007374B01

MoveVolt is an online shop. We have no physical showroom; contact runs by email.
2. What data do we process, and why?
| Data | Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|
| Name, email address, phone number (optional), delivery and billing address | Processing, delivering and confirming your order | Performance of the contract (art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Order data (products, amount, order number, payment status) | Delivery, payment, returns/warranty and our records | Contract + legal obligation (art. 6(1)(b) and (c)) |
| Email address and the content of your message | Answering your question | Legitimate interest: customer service (art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Your cookie choice (stored locally in your browser) | Remembering whether you allow measurement | Legal obligation / necessary for the requested service |
| Cookieless measurement signals (Google) without consent; analytics and advertising cookies only with consent | Measuring how the site is used | Legitimate interest for cookieless basic measurement; consent for cookies |
We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects, and we never sell your data.
3. Payment: your payment details do not reach us
Payment is handled by Stripe (iDEAL, credit card and other methods offered by Stripe). You enter your payment details on Stripe's secure payment page. We never see or store your card or account number; we only receive the payment status (paid / not paid) and the order number. Stripe processes your payment data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.
4. Recipients and processors
- Stripe — handling the payment.
- Vercel — hosting of the website and of the order system that stores your order.
- Carrier — name and delivery address, in order to deliver your order.
- Google (Tag Manager / Analytics) — cookieless when declined; with analytics and advertising cookies after Accept. See point 6.
We conclude a data processing agreement with our processors. Any processing outside the EEA takes place on the basis of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
5. How long do we keep your data?
- Order and invoice data: 7 years (Dutch statutory tax retention period).
- Customer emails: no longer than 2 years after the last contact.
- Your cookie choice: stored locally in your browser and gone as soon as you clear it.
6. Cookies and measurement
Functional storage is always active: your shopping cart and your cookie choice are kept locally in your browser (localStorage). This is necessary for the shop to work and requires no consent.
Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 use Advanced Consent Mode v2. Storage is set to denied by default: without consent no analytics or advertising cookies are placed and Google receives cookieless measurement signals only. After you click Accept, analytics and advertising cookies may be used. You can change your choice by clearing this site's storage in your browser.
7. Security
The site runs entirely over HTTPS. Access to order data is limited to those who need it, and we apply customary technical and organisational measures.
8. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing based on a legitimate interest. Where you gave consent (measurement), you may withdraw it at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
Email your request to hallo@movevolt.nl. We respond within 30 days. To prevent misuse we may ask you to substantiate your request (for example with your order number).
If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
9. Changes
We update this statement whenever the site or our processing changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
